During his PhD research he investigated the imapct of Semantic-Web based assistive interfaces in web browsing. In particular, he implemented a framework of tools based on Semantic-Web technologies that supported the Browsing Shortcuts interface which after experimental evaluation with visually impaired users was found to improve up to 30% their browsing experience. Apart from web accessibility his research interest also include HCI especially adaptive and intelligent interfaces, Semantic Web and Web 2.0 technologies and mobile HCI.
