ONAR Framework Services enables the externalization of software application functionality creating a semantically enriched application interface in order you applications functionality to shared inside and outside of you enterprise. ONAR framework Services development is independent from architectural or technical specifications of the systems that are applied. In addition the creation of the ONAR services does not require any programming effort since ONAR framework provides graphical environment (Concepts and Services Designer) that automatically deploys to fully functional web-services according to the Integration Model design. The development of the ONAR Services can be completed in five simple steps:
Step 1. Conceptualization of the integration case. Using the ONAR Concept and Services Designer™, the Integration Models (ontologies) can be visually designed and developed. The Integration Models consists only of the concepts that are related to the integration case. Thus contrary to other EAI solutions, the engineer avoids complex definitions or customization. Step 2. Association with data repositories. ONAR Integration Models (ontologies) can be easily associated to data repositories of software applications using the integrated IDE of the ONAR Concept and Services Designer™ . Step 3. ONAR Services Design. According to the integration specifications and requirements the engineer designs the ONAR Services based on the Integration Models (Step 1). ONAR Concept and Services Designer™ automatically generates the necessary source code without any additional programming effort. Step 4. ONAR Services Deployment. Using the ONAR Administration Server™ the engineer can deploy, configure and maintain the ONAR Services creating rapidly Service Oriented Integration Solutions. Step 5. ONAR Service Publication. Using the Semantic UDDI registry that is enriched with semantic metadata ONAR Services descriptions are published to facilitate discovery and invocation.
